| The AFC Champions League is a Football competition played by the top club teams from the “mature” National Leagues throughout the Asian Football Confederation. The competition is played over a group stage with each team playing all sides in their group home and away, with the winners of each group joining the Champions from last season in the Quarter Finals and progressing through a two-legged knock-out stage.
